The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) will be participating in various exhibitions, trade shows and National Pavilions to promote locally manufactured products in international markets. The department invites manufacturers and registered exporters to participate in the international trade shows listed in the links below. If your company is competitive in the South African market, has been in business for at least two years and is export ready, it stands to benefit from the dti's Export Marketing and Investment Assistance scheme.

There have been reports from members of the public about fake Requests for Quotations, claiming to be from the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition.
One of the emails used is didintle.letswalo@dti-gov.org . This is not an official email address for the dtic.

Companies are advised to verify all RFQs received by contacting the dtic call centre on 0861 843 384.
